bless me for i have sinned

On the subject of sinning and forgiveness, I’m not sure if I’ve ever forgiven my brother for having misplaced the grey-navy weaved children’s belt that I sometimes wear as a cuff. It’s pretty cool because you wrap it around your wrists a few times and it’s a highly original cuff– I do things like that all the time to improvise such as using leather ankle straps from old shoes. Anyhows, I found that belt cuff, which technically is his. I mean, it was attached to his shorts that he had when he was a toddler.

So I had a brainwave today. I love cuffs because I love different themes. And I picked up some of these extremely fierce-looking cuffs real cheaply. As I walked around with one around my wrists, I couldn’t help but wish they were large enough for my neck– happens when you have cats, you tend to put collars around yourself as well. And so I decided to combine two different cuffs and voila! They fit around my neck.
Have you ever heard of Cotton On? Well, I always love popping in whenever I visit The Land of Oz since I fly there a bit too often. Cotton stuff are purr-fect for the swelteringly hot weather here. And the stuff they carry in this store are pretty cool. Not to mention, they have a laundre and PJ department as well, which drives me utterly nuts. So, late last year, they finally opened in sunny Singapore. I was overjoyed. Because now, I have a huge selection of male singlets to choose from. Now that they’re having some major sales, I get tons of stuff uber-cheap there. Wheewy! Yup, I have a penchant for men’s stuff. Shirts, pants, suspenders, hats, shoes, anything.
Ahh well, as you can see, I got a tad carried away in front of the webcam after coming home tonight. Yes, I wore my Cotton On men’s singlet out and the double-cuff out.

On most days I wake up groggily and stumble to grab any clothes in less than five minutes. That is all I have to select and get changed. Today, whilst walking past a reflecting surface at the interchange, it hit me that I looked fetishistic. Shit. To which other people said the same, with silly smiles on their faces, topped off with stupid winks. Christ.
“You look like Madame”.
So, I decided to retort, “At least I can look like Madame”.
I think it’s the skirt with its zippers. And the boots. And the belt. And the Schoolgirlish top. Having been previously accused of looking fetishistic many-a-time. Well, a different kind of accusation. Let’s see the number of themes they’ve identified in me. Nun, schoolgirl, librarian, Madame, Secretary, etcetera. Until these days I have some fun figuring them out too.
It’s scary how so many people tell me I make things look themed. Unintentionally, that is. You know, one day if I turned into a full-blown Fetishist, you know just who’s fault it is. Ahh well, I love the boots, which were a gift, and are over four inches high. I always like pointy-toed stuff, so this is no exception.
It makes my legs look long, anyhows. I love legs. It’s quite freaky how people remember me as The Girl With Legs. I used to cut classes alot in junior college, and my skirt wasn’t even short then. After I left, I was told by acquaintances of friends who remembered me as the girl with long legs. That was before I started dabbling with short skirts. Ahh well, legs are made for walking. G’night world.
